Meet the Team

  • Juleyka Lantigua

    Juleyka Lantigua (she/her) is the Founder/CEO of LWC Studios, which received a Peabody Award nomination and won “The Director's Prize” at Third Coast award, also known as “The Oscars of Audio.” A Fulbright Scholar and Tory Burch Fellow, Juleyka holds a Master's in Journalism and an MFA in Creative Writing.

  • Pamela Kirkland

    (She/her) Atlanta-based award-winning journalist, CNN field producer. Formerly with PBS NewsHour and Washington Post. Covered major events, three presidential campaigns, and Emmy-nominated work. Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in Political Science and Communication.

  • Paulina Velasco

    (She/her) Managing producer at LWC Studios, where she oversees the daily operations for the independent audio production house. A seasoned audio reporter and producer, Paulina manages teams that produce 10-15 original and client shows each year, including podcasts for OWN, Penn State University, the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and Ascend at the Aspen Institute.

  • Kojin Tashiro

    (He/him) Lead producer and sound designer at LWC Studios, where he is responsible for the music, scores, and overall quality of over a dozen client and original shows.

  • Michelle Baker

    (She/her) Associate producer at LWC Studios. Contributes to audio & video production, marketing, ad ops, platform management. Produces virtual-studio sessions, handles ad placements & leads video-related matters. Also involved in education & community-building efforts.

  • Amanda DeJesus

    (She/her) Marketing Assistant at LWC Studios, Reporting Collaborative Intern at Resolve Philly. Seton Hall graduate in journalism and political science. White House Correspondents’ Association scholar.

  • Fitgi Saint-Louis

    (She/her) Artist, designer, and educator based in Queens, New York. She received her BFA in Design at the School of Visual Arts in 2011 and has been an adjunct professor at the school since 2020.
